A five-minute walkthrough of the Mosce ERP interface: sidebar, header, main area, and the shortcuts you will use every day.

When to use this

It is your first day and you want to know where everything is before touching anything.
You are training a new user and need a base walkthrough.

Before you start

Your session is started. If not, go to /login.
You have at least the FREE plan active (all plans show the same structure - only the visible sections change).

The three zones of the dashboard

The screen is divided into three blocks:

Sidebar (left) - main navigation.
Header (top) - context, search and user actions.
Main area (center) - the content of the current page.

It groups all modules into sections. You only see the sections that your plan + permissions give you access to. The actual sections are:

Main - Dashboard.
Operations - Products, Categories, Clients, Suppliers, Sales agents, Orders, Quotes, Point of sale, Cash registers, Invoices.
Inventory - Warehouses, Inventory, Purchase orders.
Accounting - Expenses, Supplier invoices and Payments, Fixed assets, Allocations, Recurring transactions, Budgets, Budget vs Actual, Chart of accounts, Journal entries, Templates, Cost centers, Fiscal periods, Accounting settings, Bank accounts, Statements, Reconciliation, Trial balance, General ledger.
Reports - Balance sheet, Income statement, AR aging, AP aging, Withholdings, P&L by Cost Center, Cash Flow, Changes in Equity.
Analysis - Reports (general dashboard).
Administration - Documents, Settings, Fiscal.
Platform - visible only to platform admins (does not apply to normal users).

In the lower left there is a button with two chevrons (« or ») that collapses the sidebar to icons only (64 px wide instead of 256 px). The state is saved in your browser, so the next time you enter you find it as you left it.

On mobile

Below 768 px wide the sidebar disappears. Open it by tapping the menu button (hamburger) at the top left in the header.

The header

From left to right:

Mobile menu button - only visible below 768 px.
Breadcrumbs - the current navigation path (e.g. Home › Operations › Invoices).
Company selector (Tenant switcher) - only visible from 768 px upward. If you belong to more than one company, you switch between them from here. Note: live switching is in preparation; you will see the control with the active company.
Cash register widget - shortcut to your open POS session, if you have one.
Online users indicator - how many tenant members are connected right now.
Connection indicator - state of the realtime channel (Connected / Connecting / Disconnected / Idle).
Theme switch - Light / Dark / System.
User menu - My profile, Account settings, Sign out.

The main area

The content changes based on the route. On the Dashboard you see:

Personalized greeting with your name.
"Configure your business" widget (onboarding checklist) during the first 30 days or until you dismiss it.
Four quick KPIs: Sales today, Open invoices, Low stock, Active clients.
Recent activity section.

On listing pages (clients, products, invoices, etc.) you typically see: header with title, "Create" button, filters and the table. On detail pages, header with actions, tabs and sections.

Useful shortcuts

The search field in the header is labeled "Search... (coming soon)": global search is in preparation.
To return to the dashboard from any screen, click Mosce ERP (the sidebar logo) or the first breadcrumb (Home).

Expected outcome

After reading this you know:

To identify the sidebar, header and main area.
To understand why some sidebar sections do not appear for you (plan or permissions).
To find the company selector, the user menu and the theme switch.
To operate on mobile with the drawer.

Common errors

Error	Cause	Solution
I do not see the company selector	You are on a screen smaller than 768 px or you only belong to one company	The selector appears from tablet. If you only have one tenant, you will still see it identified
"Disconnected" in the connection indicator	The realtime channel dropped	Refresh the page. If it persists, check your internet connection
The sidebar got collapsed and I cannot find the names	Collapse toggle active	Click the chevron `»` at the bottom left to expand it
